Healdsburg Vacation Rental Policies Reservations Once you make a reservation by phone, email or fax, we will forward a vacation rental agreement to you by first class mail, fax or email. The signed agreement must be returned with the advance payment in order for the reservation to be confirmed. Upon receiving payment and a signed copy of this rental agreement, we will mail a welcome packet that includes travel directions to the vacation home, the lock code to access the house, certain information that will make your stay more enjoyable, and a list of certain rules for use of the house. Payments Acceptable forms of payment are visa, mastercard, paypal, cash, check, money order, certified check or traveler's checks. If paying by visa or mastercard, you must complete the credit card authorization section of the reservation confirmation and the total amount including rental fee, cleaning fee and occupancy tax will be charged to your credit card. If not paying by credit card, a downpayment of 50% of total amount is required to confirm your reservation. The balance is due 30 days before your reservation date. Security Deposit All guests are required to complete the credit card authorization form in lieu of paying a security deposit. Your credit card will be charged for any damage, theft, occupancy after departure date, unauthorized pets, excessive cleaning, smoking, long distance telephone calls, exceeding occupancy limits, and any other mentioned policies in the Rental Agreement. Cancellations Cancellations received less than 30 days before check-in will not be refunded unless we able to re-rent the property for the same dates reserved. If we are able to re-rent the property for the same dates reserved your money less a $50 cancellation fee will be refunded to you. There are no refunds for early departures or no-shows. Cleaning Your cleaning fee is intended for a one-time cleaning of the vacation home and linens upon your departure. It is your responsibility to wash all dishes and remove items from the refrigerator prior to your departure. Smoking No smoking is allowed inside vacation homes. You will incur additional charges for carpet cleaning and deodorizing if evidence of smoking is found. Pets No pets are permitted in the home or on the premises unless you have reserved a home that lists "Pets Allowed" in the individual property description page. Guests are expected to clean up after their pets. Check-in Check-out Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Early arrivals and late departure requests will be handled on a case by case bases.
